HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAROL ANN!

“A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts." (c) Washington Irvin

So, today my Mom is having a birthday party back home that I sadly cannot attend. :( Due to these circumstances I wanted to give her a lil shine that let her know I was thinking about her.

SONG OF THE WEEK!

Ben Folds - Rockin' The Suburbs (Official Music Video) - The funniest movie is here. Find it

Artist: Ben Folds
Song Title: Rockin the Suburbs
This song shall always remind me of my 'male, middle class, and white' friend Mike... It's pretty funny, he's basically making fun of all the whinny bands that complain about having it so 'tough...' ENJOY! Ben Folds is an amazing pianist. I have tried several times to cover his songs, to no avail...

The only thing I ask is, out of the 450 homes we build, one be given to a disadvantaged family from the inner city (c) Sitwell

...that’s great. So the other 449 families live in fear? Is that what we’re saying? (c) G.O.B

ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT THE MOVIE IS COMINGGGGG!!! And I cannot wait...

If you aren't familiar, I suggest you GET FAMILIAR. NO SERIOUSLY, cause you are missing out! I demand that you go to your nearest Target and get Season 1 for $20. I promise, you won't regret it.

IRRESPONSIBLE WHITE PERSON WEDNESDAYYYY!

CHIP SALTSMAN

So, unless you were under a rock I'm sure you heard about Chip Saltsman sending out a Christmas tape with a song entitled 'Barack the Magic Negro'... While this is more than enough to get him 'IWP' status... I decided to post him now because he was STUPID enough to think that he would be promoting his candidacy for the RNC chairmanship INSTEAD of the ignorance that got him in the news back in December... Watch HERE as Contessa Brewer lays into him

Movie in a minute (c) Phontigallo

In between calling Kanye West a coward, Phonte of Little Brother takes the time out to do movie reviews... Watch as he sums up some movies creating quite a buzz in a minute or less...

Street Fighter 4 is cominggggg... and I'm pretty pumped, even though the game won't even be released on my outdated Playstation 2. I guess I will have to suck it up and upgrade (or get the computer version) lol. There are going to be a few new characters; Abel, Crimson Viper, Rufus, El Fuerte, along with the classics of course... (Ken, Ryu, Zangief, etc.) Now I know Street Fighter 3 was somewhat of a disappointment but I have high hopes for 4. After all, the arcade version of Street Fighter IV was voted Best Game of 2008 in Japan by the editorial staff of Arcadia magazine in the February 2009 issue of the publication. The game also won in the categories of "Best Graphics", "Best Production", and the "Reader's Choice Award". The character Ryu took the No. 1 spot in the magazine's "Top 20 Characters of 2008" in the same issue. PlayStation: The Official Magazine has rated the game 5/5 while Official Xbox Magazine has given Street Fighter IV a score of 95/100.

This game definitely brings me back to the old Super Nintendo days... I feel so old, but hey you gotta admit, it's a classic, I CAN'T WAITTTTT :)

*Insert sigh of relief here*
