HAPPY AIR YEEZY RELEASE DATE! Well unless you were under a rock or are lacking in your kicks knowledge then you should know that today the first pair of the long awaited Air Yeezy's are being released (the ones in the middle for the few that are still clueless as to what I'm talking about). While I do like them... I do NOT like them $215 worth, plus they don't carry midget sizes :-/. However, I might have to get those May releases, something about the Black/Pink does it for me.

It has been confirmed.... May 28, 2010 is when we will all be graced with Sex and the City 2. Now, I must admit that I am a Sex and the City fan... As you saw on my "25 Random Things About Me" post... (if you haven't CLICK HERE) I have been watching the show since the 8th grade. However even I realize that there comes a time when things must end, and I'm okay with that. The show was great, the movie was pretty good (aside from Jennifer Hudson's slave like character... "Ms. Bradshaw can i's a shines ya shoes and fixes up yo's life for ya?") Perhaps I read too into the character because she was from St. Louis, as am I and females from the Lou tend to get a bad wrap. Anyway, I will see this movie, because I am a fan... so I suppose I am one of the reasons this shall continue... Once the money stops, the show spin-offs will stop... On second thought, perhaps I'll just cop a bootleg.
This Iowa Senator told Representative Ako Abdul-Samad that legislators were treating them both like niggers. Yup, you read right... Mr. Hatch thought that he was "down" enough to throw the good 'ole n-word around in the presence of another African-American. He later apologized saying that he was angry after House leaders in a closed-door meeting decided to remove pieces from a health care bill without telling them. I find it interesting that this gentleman THINKS he knows what being treated like a nigger feels like... Seeing as though he has been privileged pretty much his entire life... You think you know Mr. Hatch, but you have NO IDEA! Bold ain't he?
Halle Berry stopped by Ellen and ended up dancing to the youtube popular Hurricane Chris video She's Fine that is about herself... Atleast Halle was a good sport about the whole thing...
The Where the Wild Things Are trailer was just released online today! I loved this book and am even more excited to know that Spike Jonze directed the film Adaptation (pun slightly intended) I've been a fan of his music videos for ions... In case you aren't familiar he's worked with Weezer, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the Beastie Boys, Sonic Youth, The Pharcyde, Pavement, Kanye West, Daft Punk... ok ok, you get the point... Check out the trailer!!!
Another thing about the trailer I love? The use of Arcade Fire's song Wake Up... it fits perfectly with the book
Pure ridiculousness on your part Mr. Dodd... Lying and then days later having to retract your statements about whether or not you knew that the amendment had been changed. You look like an even bigger buffoon as the days roll by Chris (I think your stupidity awards me the right to refer to you by your first name) but boy is it entertaining to watch you dig your own grave. Almost as entertaining as watching the whole banking fiasco finally unravel, and by entertaining I mostly mean sad. Especially after having been lied to for so long about what millions of taxpayers money went towards.
